We have excellent speakers lined up again this year as well as a number of musicians who will accompany our sing-song. I re-introduced the invitation a couple of years ago, to any of our musically gifted guests to come along and join in. This has become quite successful and we welcome those who wish to do so again this year.
So far we have:
- Andy Morris from The Glasgow Symphony Orchestra on the fiddle and an old friend of our late Brother Bobby Harvey
- Lawrence “Maca” Gilmore, Balmore golfer and former Beatles Tribute band member in the USA
- Brother Piper from Lodge The Gael 609
- Brother Angus Cameron, Past Master of Ellangowan and Honorary member of Bearsden 1572 for the Immortal Memory
- Brother Derek Malaney Past Master – Tam O’Shanter in Sound and Vision. Graphics supplied courtesy of renowned Scottish artist Nichol Wheatley
The evening is of course always extremely popular with Freemasons and Gentlemen guests alike, so please reserve your tickets as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Ticket cost this year is £25, which in the current climate is good value, as it includes the meal, a wee dram and the fore-mentioned entertainment. Profits will be distributed to charity.
We hope you can join us to renew auld acquaintances and perhaps even cement some new ones. Contact myself by Email, in the first instance to reserve your ticket.
Yours fraternally
Bro Derek Malaney
Past Master
